The primary use of Values is to regulate, distribute, and direct the flow as desired. Pneumatic valves act as a regulating devices held in between the source (compressor) and actuators in pneumatics. As a result, they are also called directional control valves. The pneumatics valves are made by Pneumadyne and many other companies all well. The Pneumatic valves are applied in air-operated, mechanical, or electromagnetic sectors. Pneumatic valves are of 5 different types.

Two-way, Two-Position Valves

As the name suggests, this pneumatic valve contains two ports adjoined through a passage. The flow passage can be easily regulated through the valves based on open and closed configurations. With the combination of advanced tech, the direction of the flow can be controlled through the activated solenoid. This type of valve is favorably used in a condition of the interlocking, isolating, and connecting of multiple parts.

Three-way, Three-Position Valves

Clearly derived from the name, these valves comprises three ports connected through the valve body's passages. This type of valve has its significant usage in a single-acing cylinder where two valves operate the exhaust port and another as the pressure port. However, they can be used in pairs to operate a double-acting cylinder. To get the equipment's optimum efficiency, they pair three-way valves instead of four-way valves. Three-way, Three-Position valves are proficient in controlling compressed air depletion in high cyclic applications.

Four-Way, Two-position Valves

These valves have four or five ports with two to three positions Valves. The valves are provided with two distinct flow paths in each position; these types of valves are quickly triggered and reverse cylinders. The spool directs the flow coming from the pressure port, and the other actuator port exhausts things out concurrently.

Four-way, Three-Position Valves

Four-way, three-position valves are present in four- and five-port designs with the three-position valves. The most common center positions comprise all ports blocked and the exhaust center. These are the two extreme positions of the four-port, four-way valve control actuator. It is not essential that every port has to be used. In a case where power-making adjustments are made on the actuator side.
